A not so White Christmas...

For the first time since Duey and I have been married, we took the boys and traveled south to Alabama for Christmas with the Brandts. Duey has twin sisters, Janina and Colette. Colette is married to Ben and they have 2 beautiful children, Wyatt is 1 and Lila is 3. With Heath being 2, it was fun watching the three little ones play together. They enjoyed building blocks and putting together puzzles. It was a balmy 50 degrees down there! We were able to walk down Mom and Dads road to a neighbors who has ducks with a huge pond

and a little farther to a house with green pastures that is filled with goats. I think my kids liked our walks the most, since they both realized 4ft of snow awaited us back at home! Jim enjoyed playing board games with everyone and challenging his Dad and Ben to Ping-Pong! Ben is a Pro, so Jim was schooled in the art of Ping-Pong! Heath loved having Uncle Ben on his team!! I even took my turn at the table and considering it was my first time, I wasn't all that bad. We were able to stay all week and the boys loved every minute of it!
