My life...is good!!

Life may not always be fun, sane, fair or even "like a box of chocolates" Sometimes you do know what you're going to get, and it's the same old thing! A crying child, a teenager struggling in school, a mad husband, a broken truck, an unfinished house and the list goes on and on...
And at that very moment...
Your once crying child, is now running naked through the house in nothing but a Cowboy hat. Making you laugh! (pictured before the naked-ness)
And your teenager that was once barely getting by in school,
is now getting almost all A's.
Making you both proud and reminiscent of his first day of school.
And your husband that was once mad,
well he's still mad and now he's not speaking to you,
which sometimes is a blessing in disguise.
So you enjoy the silence.

And from a truck that was once broken,

has come an amazing sight

of a father and son bonding.

And as for the once unfinished house...

It's still unfinished and everyday is a memory of the time spent building it together! Remembering every minute to Thank God you have a house...
And in that very moment you realize...

Life may not be fun, sane, fair or even "like a box of chocolates"

but, My life...is good!!

I hope yours is too!

Football Season at Fremont-Mills

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!
This is our first year on the football team for
Fremont-Mills and we LOVE it!!
Jim is #90 and plays second-string
Wide Reciever and Linbacker!

You don't realize how grown your little boy is,

until you see him in full football gear,

on the field, stopping another team from scoring!!

This was our first game.

We played against the Glenwood Rams!

We Won!!

So far this season we have played two games

and we have won both.

In Junior High they only are allowed to play 5 games

so we are off to a great start!!

Go Knights!!

Family Day at the Air Show

We went to the Offut Air force Base,
Air Show a few weeks ago.
I think that Heath has the same love for planes that his Daddy does!
We had a great time watching the Blue Angels perform!!
I hadn't been to an Air Show since I was a little girl.
I couldn't believe the pilots could fly that close together!
They stayed in perfect formation.
It was AMAZING!!!

Duey's favorite part was the fly over of the B2-Stealth Bomber!!

As Heath Says, "Cool!"
By the time the noisiest of all the planes, the F-15 and F-16's were flying over, Heath had fallen asleep and much to all of our surprise
(us and everyone around us) He slept right through it!!

Playdoh

Our First time playing with Playdoh!!
We loved the smell, but not the taste!! We did try it a couple of times to make sure, but in the end we decided it definitely smelled better than it tasted!! Here is our final art work. We were working with our Diego molds and he thought it was lots of fun to create our own Diego Dino scene!! Our dog Thor, cleaning up the fallen pieces of Playdoh. He did like the taste!!
