On our way home from Alabama we were awaiting the bad weather, we knew we would eventually run into it. I called ahead to our neighbor, who used his tractor to scoop out our driveway so we could park when we got home and it was a good thing we did, because the snow was deep, 10ft drifts in someplaces! As we traveled North, to our surprise, we were almost home before it started to get really bad. We knew that the weather would cause a lot of cars to go into the ditch so when we saw the first car we made a tally mark on a random piece of paper.
By the time we arrived home our total was
40 cars, 2 semi's and 1 car trailer in the ditch or median!!
Luckily, we were not one of them!
